We are from a long line of proud Southern families dating back to the founding of our great country. Our Family has many ancestors who helped free our country from England, fight for the South in the civil war, participate in WWI and WWII and become involved in the building of our hometown, Atlanta.
Jesse Warren, my great grandfather, ran for Mayor in 1916 against Asa Candler. My grandfather, David C. Armistead, helped my father start his life's dream of owning his own company on June 1, 1969. My father, David C. Armistead Jr., was the first to become involved in the Paint Industry. He became a painter while working as an Atlanta fireman to support my two brothers, my sister, and myself.
I, too, worked as a painter! The importance of quality paint and good preparation were learned through hands on examples from the master, my Dad. His example has made me the good businessman I am today and helped make my business successful.
